Mrs. Susan Hutchings has announced that The Civil Air Patrol is planning a new cadet squadron which is coming to West Boca Community High School in January 2025! They will meet one evening a week at WBHS to engage in activities about aviation, fitness, leadership, character, emergency services, cyber security and aerospace. Plus, there are fun events available on some weekends and during winter and summer breaks, like free orientation flights, encampments, marksmanship training, competitions and more. The program is designed to help students become leaders in any field and open opportunities for future careers in aerospace and cyber technology. The Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer non-profit organization and the official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. There is no military obligation.
