Introducing Sofia Maldonado! Born on December 5th, 2009 and raised in the hot and sunny South Florida, Sofia Maldonado is a first year reporter for the Bullseye and a Sophomore at West Boca High.
Sofia is a bright student who has big aspirations for her future. Sofia’s chosen to become a reporter for the West Boca Bullseye because she loves to write and has a particular excitement for a career in Journalism. Sofia is especially looking forward to covering sports news here at WB and attending as many athletic events as she can. The Bullseye is so excited to have Sofia on our staff and we can’t wait to see what she contributes to our newspaper!
Sofia is a star athlete on West Boca’s girls volleyball team. Without a doubt, Sofia would say that volleyball is her passion and she hopes to continue her volleyball career in college.
A lover of travel and creativity, Sofia is a very down to earth person who loves to experience new things! Fulfilling her love for travel, Sofia went on a cruise this summer and excitedly explored the Bahamas and Florida’s Key West! In her free time, Sofia loves to paint, hang out with friends and listen to music!
Sofia describes herself as a very caring and compassionate individual who loves others! She says that she can be shy at first glance, but once she breaks out of her shell and warms up, she is a blast! Fun fact! If Sofia could have any superpower, she would want to be a mind reader!
