Julia Quirno was born February 15th, 2008 in the beautiful city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was born and raised there until she moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 2018. Being from Brazil, her biggest accomplishment is when she came here she had to learn a new language at just 10 years old! How impressive.
This is Julia’s first year as a reporter for The Bullseye! The reason she decided to join The Bullseye’s team was because she enjoys reading and writing, and she wanted to dive deeper and explore that for herself. With Julia being a senior and in her last year at West Boca she feels deep excitement to write about sports games such as soccer, along with reviews on things such as books, movies, etc!
In Julia’s free time she loves to make good coffee, go to the gym, go to book stores to find some good reads, and watch movies with her friends and family. Her favorite movies are Dirty Dancing and Set it up. When she’s in a slump, things like listening to music help her feel joy. The tunes she listens to when she needs a good pick-me-up are Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, and Abbie Gamboa.
Since Julia is a senior, her future and her profession are quickly approaching. Therefore, she’s had to think about what she wants to do with her life and who she one day wants to become. She’s expressed her love for professional sonography or journalism.
This year, as a Bullseye reporter, she hopes to write about games such as soccer and reviews. We hope to see her do amazing things this year!
