
This week is National School Lunch Week. West Boca wanted to recognize the hard work the staff in the cafeteria put in. Over 2,000 students each day eat lunch and breakfast every day, with the help of the staff, who prepare meals and give them the chance to eat nutritious food. The most popular lunch items on the lunch menu are pizza and Stromboli. \With a smile on their faces, the staff adore giving out food to students.
As many people know, care comes in many ways, including our staff making sure that the students have enough food for the day and have easy access to it. They plan to celebrate being recognized by coming together during their break and enjoying something to eat. The staff are parents and grandparents who put a lot of love into their work. Their effort, kindness, and dedication go towards helping students succeed. They manage to work together in a fast-paced workplace by building on time management and productivity routines. The relationship between the team is positively dynamic; they have a tight relationship with each other.
Our staff put a lot of time and consideration into what we eat. They focus on trying to have a healthy balance between what’s appealing and what’s healthy. The staff say, “We want to make the meals as enjoyable as they are nutritious. Be sure to select a juice or a fruit with your meal.” The cafeteria offers a wide assortment of foods such as Arroz Con Pollo, Haitian Coleslaw, and Ramen. These are just a few of the delicious options that happen to be new on the menu this year! The staff are always trying to introduce new items to the menu in order to offer a delicious learning experience. The wide assortment of hot and cold menu items not only creates a delicious assortment but also helps when dealing with allergies.
At the end of the day, the staff want to create an environment that allows everyone to find something to enjoy. As you walk through the lunch line, the staff are always the first people to smile at you and to ask what you would like. They make gentle suggestions to help make your experience even more enjoyable, and they care deeply about every one of us.
