As these unprecedented times have left everyone uncertain of the forthcomings of this school year. Below is some information from Mr.Bicknell on frequently asked SENIOR questions that we hope will shed some clarity.
Q: Do any of the senior regulations such as exceeded absences requiring exams still apply?
A: It’s still uncertain how this rule will be approached. It’s TBD if exams will be happening this upcoming semester. According to the distribution of exams, will determine the senior exemption rules. If no exams are given, grades will be calculated just as the first semester.
Q: Is there any update on the possibilities of prom?
A: There is no prom scheduled at this time. The school is working on something to possibly replace it.
Q: Is there any additional information on graduation and the protocols that will be taken?
A: The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2021 will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the South Florida Fairgrounds if permitted by CDC and local guidelines. There will be limited tickets. Further details will be provided accordingly.
Q: When do seniors end school?
A: The last day of school for seniors will be Tuesday, May 25th. If exams will be given they will be scheduled for the remainder of that week (May 26th, 27th and 28th).
