Introducing Rebecca Kittay

A one of a kind competitive jump roper, Rebecca Kittay, is now a junior at West Boca High. This is her first year on the Bulls Newspaper, and she is excited to contribute with her photography and sports pieces. She was born sixteen years ago in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Rebecca moved to Boca Raton six years ago and since then she has had quite the life. Her hobbies include horseback riding, playing golf, dancing , cooking, and photography. She participates in competitive golf tournaments for West Boca and plays for outside tournaments also. Rebecca wants to play for a college in North Carolina. She works as a part-time babysitter and is a DJ in training. She was a camp counselor for second graders this summer. She volunteered at an animal rescue where she spent her time on weekends and after school. She had many responsibilities there from the time that she would get there until the time that they closed. She spent her summer pursuing her hobbies and interests. Rebecca is an only child who spends her free time playing with her dog Penny who is a pitbull. As she is in the culinary academy, she finds her future taking her to college and pursuing a medical license in neuroscience. She is passionate about many kinds of music which encourages her career as a DJ. She is also interested in flying planes and she would like to potentially get her private pilot’s license at some point in her life. Her favorite classes are currently algebra and all science classes, including psychology, biology, and anatomy. Her dream travel destination is Greece, and her favorite place that she has been outside of the country was Placencia, Belize. As for inside the country, she loves traveling to New York and back to her home in North carolina. Her favorite animals are dogs, horses, and the fun-loving monkeys.
