Introduction to Talia Badalamente

Olivia Eberhardt, Reporter

Born in Boca Raton, Florida (where she has lived her whole life), Talia Badalamente is a junior who attends West Boca High School. For her Freshman year of high school, she attended Olympic Heights, where she was on the Girls’ Varsity Soccer team. She is also on the Girls’ Varsity Soccer team here at West Boca High, which she has been a part of since her Sophomore year. Despite spending countless hours on soccer, she also manages to be a part of the Teens of Pink Ribbon Club and the Save the Oceans Club. Even while being swamped with all of her extracurriculars, Talia takes pride in her academics, and she plans to hopefully attend college at FSU or UF.

Something that Talia finds interesting about herself is that she is half Puerto Rican and half Italian. She has one younger sister, who also attends West Boca High as a Sophomore. She has two adorable dogs, Rocky and Mickey, who have been in her family for about five years now. Her bird, Carl, also creates quite the interesting conversation starter.

Following a very busy school year last year, Talia found time to make the absolute most of her summer. While balancing travel soccer and a busy social life, she visited her lake house in Georgia for most of the much-needed summer break. Furthering her soccer techniques, Talia pursued training camp at Clemson University in late July.

Talia plans on furthering her soccer career, hopefully by making the sport her main focus in her college years. She is extremely excited about the school year ahead, and she  can’t wait to begin writing for her very first year with The Bullseye!
