Born on November 13th, 2007 and raised in hot and sunny Boca Raton, Florida, Mackenzie is a first year reporter for The Bullseye reporter and a Junior at West Boca. Mackenzie is a star athlete on both the West Boca High’s soccer and track team. She also is a member of the Key Club here at West Boca.
She’s chosen to become a reporter for The Bullseye this year because of her love and passion for writing and media, not to mention she’s also an amazing writer. Also a part of the medical academy, she aspires to become either an EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) or a sports journalist. She loves watching and writing about soccer games with her favorite team being the USA Women’s National team.
Mackenzie is described as a very caring and compassionate person who is very lively, energetic, and someone who loves to have lots of fun. Speaking of fun, in her free time she enjoys mountain biking, listening to music, and going to the beach. She also has an adorable chocolate lab named Millie!
This summer, Mackenzie traveled to California, North Carolina, and New York. In California, she went whale watching, hiking, boating, and tons of sightseeing! In North Carolina she became a summer camp counselor for a children’s summer camp for 4 weeks in which she became a great leader! After this summer, Mackenzie is ultra excited to see what this year has in store!
