If you are a senior who is looking to apply to colleges, here are the differences in application opportunities.
Early Decision: Early decision is a binding application that allows you to apply early but you have to be completely sure that you are going to the school of your choice. Make sure you love this school because you will have to be obligated to enroll in this school.
Early Action: Early action is a non-binding application that allows you to apply early without any actual commitment to that school. So if you choose to apply this way, feel free to apply to as many schools as you want!
Regular Decision: Regular decision is the standard when it comes to college application. It is non-binding and it gives you time to apply to the school or schools you choose. The only issue with regular decisions is that because of the competitive climate that is American academics, regular decisions may not cut it when it comes to considering you for enrollment.
