The spookiest day of the year, Halloween, is coming up! Personally I am very ecstatic and I’m inferring that many others are too. Other than dressing up, one main tradition is to go trick or treating! I know from my past experience that there are many candies that everyone gathers, but I never knew which candies are the most popular.
- Squeezing into 5th place are Twix. Every once in a while, I believe everyone could go for a Twix. The candy consists of a crispy biscuit coated with a layer of caramel and finished with a surrounding of chocolate. Personally, I think this candy should have at least been third on the list since it is so tasty.
- To my surprise, Peanut Butter M&M’s are in the top four. Inside this chocolate covered ball is a roasted peanut and milk chocolate filling. I’ve never heard anyone rave about how incredible peanut butter M&M’s are, so I’m shocked they are fourth in the country.
- The third candy is Snickers. Snickers is a milk chocolate bar with roasted peanuts, nougat, and caramel. This being ranked number three is not correct in my opinion because I think it should be lower on the list. It is not my ideal candy, though I would still eat it.
- Second place is the Original M&M’s. These chocolate delights are small ovals of chocolate, varied colored layers, and have a white M printed on top. Though they are simple since they are just milk chocolate, M&M’s are still tasty.
- The winner of candies is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I’m not a big fan of peanut butter, but I know many people who are. For those who don’t know what Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are, they are mini milk chocolate cups filled with a smooth peanut butter. This candy was titled number one in 42 states.
Overall, many LOVE Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. A poll on the West Boca Bullseye instagram was posted asking what students’ favorite candies were. The top response was Twix and I’m not shocked because it came third overall in the nation. What’s your favorite candy?
