West Boca’s Boys & Girls Tennis Team Dominates Against Olympic Heights

Who doesn’t love high school tennis?!

West Boca’s boys tennis team swept Olympic Heights (OH) with victories in both singles (five matches) and doubles (two matches) on Monday.

Archie Balyberdin, who plays Line 1, defeated OH 8-2. Zuhayr Alam-Ahmed, who plays Line 2, defeated OH 8-0. Teo Petrowski, who plays Line 3, defeated OH 8-4. Eduardo Cardenas, who plays Line 4, defeated OH 8-1. Spencer Aaronson, who plays Line 5, rounded out the boys singles’ matches with an 8-2 win.

In boys doubles, Zuhayr Alam-Ahmed and Isaac Edelman (Line 1) dominated, defeating OH 6-3. Lucas Custodio and Teo Petrowski also dominated, crushing OH 6-1 in Line 2 doubles.

West Boca’s girls tennis team also played amazing! Mia Niedzwiedzki and Michelle Tenorio defeated OH in tough matches, 8-4, respectively. Amelie Salum Rapetti won her match 8-1. And Sydney Davis won 8-2.

In girls doubles, Michelle and Amelie teamed up to win 6-2. And Micayla Lowe and Julie Saltz teamed up to shutout OH, 6-0.

West Boca’s tennis team (both boys and girls) plays next on Thursday, March 3rd, against Atlantic at home. The first matches start at 4:00 PM.
