Introducing, Alexandra Kimbrell from Vero Beach, Florida.  Alexandra is in 11th grade.   She plans on attending a college that is most likely in Florida.  She is learning to play acoustic guitar and plans on transitioning to electric guitar.  In her free time she enjoys reading and writing.  Alexandra’s family is from Mexico and she has three brothers, two of which attend West Boca.  Alexandra owns a dog named Azul, two birds named Coco & Kiara, an iguana named Kiwi, and a fish. She participates in the Save The Ocean club, Key club, Literary League, and hopes to join Science National Honors Society this school year.  Over the summer she also volunteered at a children’s science Explorium in Sugar Sand Park, where she helped children through their scientific journey as a camp counselor.  Alexandra likes to write stories of her own, she currently has written about 8 stories(which remain unfinished). She also loves to write song lyrics when inspiration strikes her, some of which she has finished writing for.  Alexandra can speak Spanish and English but is also trying to learn French. The type of genre Alexandra enjoys reading is fantasy, but she is open to other genres, excluding romance which she views with skepticism. She joined the bullseye newspaper because she enjoys writing and would like to gain more experience writing outside of English class. Alexandra also enjoys playing video games in her spare time. Alexandra is in the design academy, which she enjoys very much as she wants to possibly pursue graphic design in college.
