Coach Hassan Jaddaoui and his West Boca Bulls soccer squad took down highly favored Dwyer on the road, 3-2, to capture the District Championship on Tuesday night.

Thanks to a hat trick (three-goal performance) from Raul Calvi, the Bulls delivered a stunner.

West Boca will now host next week’s Regional playoff game on Wednesday, February 8th at 7:00pm.

When asked about his performance, Raul said the following:

“I think I had a pretty solid performance. In the first couple minutes I started off slow but once I locked in I knew it was over. It’s hard to see a hat trick like this, especially in a final, with all three goals being scored from outside the box, and it just feels great to see all the hard work and hours put in at training pay off. Individually I had a top tier performance, but I was never going to accomplish what I’ve done without my teammates and playing like a family, so thanks to them I was able to shine. I’m so satisfied I was able to help my team with the three goals and bring the district title home for West Boca”.

Raul is already preparing for the next game; the job is not done yet.

“To prepare for the next game I am going to make sure I recover my body after this very intense final, and focus on training throughout the week. Minimize the errors and prepare ourselves so we are successful towards our objective, the match on Wednesday”.

Raul was not the only one who enjoyed the win.

Coach Jaddaoui said “It was very awesome. They played as a team and they pulled together when it was needed the most. I told them that they need to be focused and everyone must give everything”.

Coach Jaddaoui will have the Bulls ready to go for Wednesday.

“We are going to do what we have been doing… practicing on the right thing and being ready for the next challenge”.
