Rebecca Kittay, senior at West Boca High, is now in her second year of writing with The Bullseye. Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, she has now lived in Boca Raton for six years. Rebecca joined The Bullseye during her junior year in hopes to pursue her passion of writing and photography. As captain of the girls’ golf team, she loves to keep our readers informed of upcoming golf events, scores, and important updates. Despite her love for the sport of golf, her absolute favorite sport to photograph is basketball because of the high energy and action.
Rebecca’s favorite activities include golfing, photography, dancing, cooking, horseback riding, and DJing. She prides herself on being a self-taught dj. She DJs for birthday parties, bat and bar mitzvahs, and other major events. Other than DJing, this summer she spent her time working as a camp counselor for a large group of 6-year-old boys at the JCC, babysitting, and traveling the country. She visited Connecticut, Washington D.C., and New York to spend time with her family. She is an only child, and has one pitbull named Penny.
This school year, Rebecca is most looking forward to her AP Biology class, as she is very interested in science. In her near future, she plans on going to college to study sports medicine with a focus in neuroscience, as well as sports management. She is super excited for the year ahead and cannot wait to continue writing articles for The Bullseye!
