Annika Billinger joins The Bullseye staff as a senior ready to tackle our school’s most pressing issues. Acting as our resident Chicken Parm (W food) and reptile expert, she plans to bring her creative and imaginative writing skills to add ‘flavor’ to her articles.
Annika can be described in one word: “well-rounded”. In her personal time, she can be found playing a variety of different sports, the list of which includes baseball, tennis, soccer, competitive swimming, water polo, and golf. Her very diverse skills of sports-based pastimes can also be seen in her instrumental abilities, cello, piano, french horn, mellophone, and guitar have all been mastered by Annika. Her proficiency in both English and Swedish have allowed her to travel all over the world, including China, Peru, Paris, Colombia, and a number of locations in Europe.
Academic excellence is something that Annika has never struggled with, taking all honors classes throughout high school. Her skills as a writer has helped her stand out among her English teachers which helped her to land the reporter position on The Bullseye. While her range as a writer extends to most relevant topics, her personal favorites include historical and current-event based topics. She also has a particular affinity for biographies, which captivated her from an early age and inspired her interests today. Be on the lookout for Annika’s, and all of The Bullseye staff’s articles this year!
