Introducing Katiana Talabert! She was born in Palm Bay, Florida, on November 27, 2006. As a Senior, she wanted to join journalism to be more involved in the school and have an outlet for her voice. She plans to spend her very first year at The Bullseye focusing on sports and entertainment. Kati explains her love for sports, “It comes from my family…always watching and connecting over games!”
In her free time, she loves to play tennis for fun! Katiana also spends her days hanging out with friends, volunteering at nursing homes, doing her clinicals at Walgreens, reading, playing video games, and the very dedicated practice of learning the Ukulele!
In her academic life, Katiana has taken about 14 dual-enrollment classes. This hardworking student already has her AA degree and her AICE diploma. Go Kati! Katiana is also a part of the West Boca Medical Program. She has known that she wanted to work in the medical field since she was in kindergarten. This is because her mom is a nurse practitioner! Katiana has always admired her mother’s hard work. She plans to attend Keiser University for her undergrad and then go on to medical school to become an OBGYN.
Katiana’s family and friends are very important to her. In the future, when asked where she would like to live, she said anywhere her family is. If she had to describe herself in one word, it would be extraverted. If you ever see her around campus, you will find her surrounded by friends! Her favorite place to hang out is the Boca Falls playground swings and the beach. Her grub of choice would be a pubsub!
Fun fact! Katiana was actually born with 12 fingers! Woah! A medical mystery for the doctor herself! She is so excited for everyone to hear her voice and be a part of the school!
