Today we will learn a little about who Rachel Herman is! Born February 23, 2007 she was raised in Boca Raton and loves it. This is her senior year and she is passionate about everything she does and is a very empathetic individual. She contributes to our community by volunteering at an animal rescuing institution and she is currently aspiring to get an internship at a psychiatric hospital.
Rachel has remarkable academic achievements as well. She achieved the AP Diploma and AP Capstone Diploma during her junior year! Additionally, she is part of the National Honor Society in our school which helps our community as well. She is part of the medical academy and has great interest in psychology, hoping to pursue it as her major in UCF.
Rachel is a very curious and open minded individual, she has the interest to work with highly intelligent individuals who either have personality disorders or autism spectrum. But according to her “if money didn’t matter, I would be a fashion designer, it’s my dream job” she said. Expanding on that, she sells vintage clothes online and loves doing so.
For fun she enjoys figure skating and absolutely loves to travel. She has been to the Bahamas, Italy, France, Canada, plans to go to the Dominican Republic during the winter, Mexico during the spring, and Japan and South Korea during the summer!
This is her first year on The Bullseye staff and she hopes to expand her journalism and writing skills during the school year. Also, Rachel wants to make this year count!
