Introducing Sofia Sierra

Introducing+Sofia+Sierra

Welcome back Sofia Sierra for her second year with the West Boca Bullseye Newspaper! Sofia will continue to write about entertainment pieces this year in addition to a wide variety of real world news. Sofia is a Sagittarius with her birthday being in December, and this year she comes back to West Boca as a junior.

She loves to participate in extracurricular activities like the West Boca Film Club and Track and Field. Not only that but she loves to play video games, paint, and watch movies. Her favorite type of video games are horror games, especially Resident Evil, and she finds herself to enjoy many different types of movies.

Traveling is also a big joy in Sofia and her family’s life. Her dream vacation would be to travel to Norway to see the northern lights. On the topic of her family she has two dogs, Karter (Australian Shepherd) and Daisy (Yorkie). She also has a brother who is currently studying business in college! Recently this summer, Sofia traveled to Yale University to further study neuroscience; she had a great time with friends and an amazing experience on campus!

Her plans for after high school leads to getting her PhD in psychology and studying neuroscience. In the end, Sofia wants to work in the FBI, become a professional researcher, and a professor.

For her current school year, she has many exciting goals like getting good grades, improving upon research, making a movie, and getting a good score on the SAT.

Having Sofia a part of the newspaper for a second year is very exciting as we get to see what she has to bring to the table for the entertainment category.

Brianna Jarzomkowske
Hi! I’m Brianna Jarzomkowske and a junior at West Boca. This is my first year with The Bullseye and I am very excited to add my creativity to it! I enjoy watching sports, specifically hockey (Florida Panthers) and football (Chicago Bears). I also love to read romance novels in my free time. I’m really hoping to pursue my dreams of becoming a Sports Medicine Nurse and getting a Nursing degree at either UF or FAU. I can’t wait for this year! :)
