What is the ASVAB? The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test is a free test that anybody can take to help explore what career may suit you. This test can be taken by anybody even if they have no interest in joining the U.S Military. West Boca High School will administer the ASVAB test November 15, 2023 at 7:30am. This ASVAB test will test you on 10 different categories:
- general science
- arithmetic reasoning
- word knowledge
- paragraph comprehension
- mathematics knowledge
- electronics information
- auto information
- shop information
- mechanical comprehension
- assembling objects
For this test, the highest score you are able to score is a 99 and the minimum score required to join the army is a 31. But even if you are not interested in joining, it’s a good way to test your skills and abilities in order to identify which career path may best suit you. After you take the test, your score will be good for 2 years (by taking this test it does not mean you are under any obligation to join the U.S military).
