The 2025-2026 Track & Field County Meet was held at Dwyer High School on March 31st. Many outstanding Track & Field athletes qualified for this meet, all of whom West Boca is very proud of!
With leading personal bests on the West Boca team, Senior Eranelle Julien-Jeune qualified for the individual 200m dash. Eranelle also runs in the girls’ 4x100m relay, alongside Maria Otero, Bethany Joseph, and Mackenzie Whitfield. Their best team performance was a time of 50.81 seconds, run at the Martin County High School Meet last Friday. They hope to break the West Boca 4x100m girls relay record time of 50.08. They are getting close! The West Boca Boys’ 4x100m relay, consisting of Lincoln Russell, Jackson St. Pierre, Larry Morgan, and Da’Coby Wooten, will also be competing at Counties, with a team best of 43.17 seconds.
Finishing off the meet strong, our girls’ 4x400m relay, consisting of athletes Bella Gonzales, Maria Otero, Eranelle Julien-Jeune, and Dominique Sumpter-Henderson, ran a new season best time of 4 minutes and 21 seconds, beating their seeded time by 2 seconds.
Last but not least, we can’t forget about our West Boca Field athletes! Senior McKenzi Saulsberry qualified for the girls’ shot put and threw a new personal best of 10.14m. In the boys’ long jump finals, Joe’Rell Haynes jumped 6.56m, earning him a 3rd place victory. Randy Dorvilus jumped 13.37m in the boys’ Triple Jump, earning him 5th place overall.
