October 18, 2022
Congratulations to the Girls golf team for their win against Boca High yesterday. They all played well and enjoyed playing a team with amazing players. The girls will play again on Wednesday against Park Vista at Indian Springs. This will be their last match before they play districts on Monday, October 24.
According to Coach Bonina, “The team is supporting each other and we have such a positive family environment. The girls really care about each other and the chemistry is wonderful to see. It is a joy to watch this and girls have shown great improvement. Madison Lowenstein continues to have the lowest score of the matches. Seeing tremendous improvement with the rest of the team. Marley Asbury, Riley Person and Anissa Mills are coming on strong as the season comes to an end before districts. Our top 2 Madison Lowenstein and Rebecca Kittay are the team leaders and will need them both to lead the way for districts ” Thank you coach Bonina and good luck Bulls.
Captain Madison Lowenstein said of the win, “Another really good win, we played very hard and gave it our all, with a lot of improvement. I am very happy with the way we have been playing all together.”
Captain Rebecca Kittay also spoke on it saying, “This was a great win and I am so proud of our team and how well we are doing. For many of the girls on our team, this is their first year and they are working hard to help our team be the best we can. Great job everyone, we only have one more week. Let’s finish strong!”
“Forget the last shot. It takes so long to accept that you can’t always replicate your swing. The only thing you can control is your attitude toward the next shot.” -Mark McCumber
