Christmas is almost here and last-minute Christmas shopping is just around the corner. The largest problem in being efficient in your Christmas shopping is always what to get someone, especially if you plan on buying stocking stuffers or just small gifts. Here’s some ideas on what to get your friends or family this Christmas!
$15 and Under Stocking Stuffers
For a more practical present, think of getting phone chargers or some cable bites charging cord protectors. Charging cables (especially for iPhone ones) are always fraying and these protective accessories might preserve your charging cables forever (and they look really cute). Look for more durable and longer charging cables so that fraying isn’t as much of a problem in the future.
If you’re shopping for someone who likes makeup, you can try your hand at getting a small bottle of lip oil, lip gloss, mascara, etc. as a small gift. Even gifting a good makeup bag and one or two makeup items will be more than enough of a holiday present.
Generally, buy accessories for the gift recipient! Things like claw clips (even cute hair clips), rings (or any jewelry), keychains, Crocs charms (if the recipient owns them of course), wallets, etc. The possibilities are pretty much endless for small accessories.
If you’re still at a loss for a present, get some candy! Choose their favorite candy and buy some packs of it, or get something like one of these hollow candy canes filled with miscellaneous candy. If candy’s not someone’s thing, snacks are also a viable option. Things like chips, and exotic snacks (from Japan, Mexico, Korea, etc.) would be nice gifts for someone who loves them. Exotic tea and/or coffee can also be included in this category.
$25 and Under Stocking Stuffers
If the person you’re buying stocking stuffers likes reading, you’d do well to buy them a new book (just make sure that it’s in line with their tastes or ask them for their ‘to be read’ list). It might be a little challenging to fit a book in a Christmas stocking, but it can be done.
Along the same idea, stationary could also be a great present! Especially for someone who does office work or takes notes all the time, pens, different kinds of paper, notepads, notebooks, sticky notes, stickers, etc. could all work as great presents. For more universal gifts, legos and plushies (stuffed animals) can be really good presents. Squishmallows are really popular choices for stuffed animals. If you’re not sure about getting someone Legos, buy a small set they would like to build as decoration or make a Lego character for them at a Lego store.
More general gifts in this price range include AirPods cases, bags, or some clothes.Miscellaneous Gifts
If you’re creative enough and good at crafts (in general), you can try your hand at DIY stocking stockers. Things like origami, crochet items, and air dry clay creations can all be some good handmade gifts.
While all the previous stocking stuffer ideas are pretty viable, buying gifts related to someone’s hobbies is the best way to go, or finding things for someone to branch out into. For example, for someone who likes planting (or wants to get into it), find seeds, a planting kit, or small decorative pots to gift.
You can buy merch from something they’re a fan of or clothes (in their style). If worse ever comes to worse, there’s always a gift card you can buy!
