Girls Varsity Volleyball: West Boca Bulls Beat Vero Beach Fighting Indians 3-0

In a showdown between the No. 3 West Boca Bulls and the No. 6 Vero Beach Fighting Indians, the Bulls came out on top, beating the Indians 3-0.

With the win, West Boca is now headed to the regional semifinals (Sweet 16) where they’ll play the No. 2 Boca High Bobcats on Wednesday night. The game will be played at Boca High, with the game starting at 7:00 PM. Boca High recently beat No. 7 Park Vista by a score of 3-0.


The atmosphere was great in Boca Raton, Florida. Tons of students from West Boca showed up to support the Lady Bulls! The students’ support proved worthy – West Boca is one step closer to the State Championship Game.


Junior Alyssa Hook was named “Player of the Match” with 19 kills and a .275 hitting percentage, two aces, 14 serve receptions – no errors, and 14 digs.

Freshman Larissa Casatti had 33 assists and eight digs.

Also, senior Kenyce Johnson had 17 serve receptions – no errors, 13 digs, and two aces.
