Super Bowl 56 is almost here, with one of the most exciting match-ups in recent history!

For the first time in a long time, there are no juggernauts in the superbowl. This is the first Super Bowl in ages without Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Patrick Mahomes. This is a match between the ultimate underdog, the Cincinnati Bengals, against a team that went all-out for this season, the Los Angeles Rams.

For the less fortunate franchise fans (such as me and my Dolphins) we are mostly rooting for the Bengals. They accomplished what had seemed impossible. Coming off a terrible season, a quarterback coming off of a torn ACL, and a head coach in the hot seat, they wowed everybody. They had one of the most explosive offenses this season leading the NFL in plays of 50 yards or more.

The Bengals are a team filled with youthful and explosive energy and players. There is also the dynamic connection between Joe Burrow and Ja’Maar Chase (former college teammates) who have never lost a playoff game when on the same team. They also have a 5th year veteran running back Joe Mixon who is having one of his best seasons. This is a team that also has a top half defense that held the Kansas City Chiefs to only a field goal in the second half not only in the regular season but also in a 21-3 comeback playoff win (final score was 27-24 Bengals victory). There is one main veteran leader on the offense of this Bengals team, C.J. Uzomah, who was carted off the field in the AFC Championship game, had vowed to play in the Super Bowl despite a sprained MCL. Despite the youthful vigor and fight of this team, they have to deal with one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Against a stellar Titans defense in the divisional round, Joe Burrow was sacked 9 times, hardly being able to get the ball out of his hands in time. To win this game, Burrow will have to get the ball out of his hands as fast as possible.

For the Rams, this is a team that wanted the Super Bowl this year. Ownership did absolutely everything possible to assemble one of the most talented teams in all of NFL history. This began at the end of last season when the Rams traded for Quarterback Matt Stafford from the Lions to an already good team. In the middle of the 2021-2022 season, the Rams had also acquired Odell Beckham, Jr. and Von Miller, only improving their offense and defense. Cooper Kupp, who has been on the team for multiple years, is having a major breakout season and is making the best case for a wide receiver MVP in many years. With 1,974 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, he is the most valuable wide receiver in the league. They have one of the best offensive weapons in the league, and a great offensive line, and by far the most dominant defensive line which is likely to blow through the Bengals offensive line.

With all the information presented, you would think that this would be a blow-out game, but this Bengals team is the most inspired and determined out of any team in recent history. Overcoming as much adversity as this team has this season gives them a more than better chance to win this game. In my opinion, I believe that the Bengals will find a way to win this game no matter what they have to do. After plenty of come-back games against teams they probably should have lost to, this team has my trust along with much of the country.

Score prediction: 24-20 Bengals victory
