Introducing Andrea Claxton!

Ms. Claxton with Ken the Skeleton!

Andrea Claxton is one of our newest teachers here at West Boca! This is her very first year teaching and she’s excited to begin her career here. She’s teaching both EMR and Anatomy & Physiology. She chose to work at West Boca because of the amazing medical academy we have. Ms. Claxton has always had a love for all things medical and science related, so she’s so excited to teach the upcoming generations of medical students!

Ms. Claxton has a passion for teaching people and helping them achieve a “lightbulb” when explaining things to them. She doesn’t always enjoy what she teaches, but her joy of helping others learn overcomes that. For example, the other day she helped one of her students with a Pre-calc question for their math class and was able to help them understand better. Some things she’s looking forward to this school year are seeing how much her students have learned by the end of the year, spirit weeks, and pep rallies! Finally, her favorite subjects to teach are both EMR and Anatomy & Physiology! She said she chose both classes because she enjoys teaching them so much and couldn’t choose between them. We’re so excited for Ms. Claxton to join our staff, and make sure to welcome her when you see her!

Hi! My name is Isabella Fernandes and I’m a senior at West Boca. This is my first year on The Bullseye and I’m really looking forward to writing this year! I joined The Bullseye because I wanted to be more involved in the school and report on the latest news. I’m interested in writing about sports and entertainment. I play club volleyball and my position is an outside hitter. In the future I aspire to be in the medical field, and as of right now, I want to be an orthopedic surgeon.

Hi! I'm Rebecca Kittay. This is my second year on the Bullseye and I am the Photography Editor.  I'm on the varsity girls golf team and in the culinary academy.  I am interested in photography and music so I’ll be planning on writing articles about these topics. I also will be taking pictures at many school events- especially the various sports games!
