Since January 2026, Dancing with the Stars has been on its annual tour. They have over 70 dates all across North America. This tour features pro dancers such as Val Chmerkovskiy, Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Ezra Sosa, and Hailey Bills. On occasion, they have a few special guests who are previous season finalists.
On March 29th, one of the tour dates was in Hollywood, Florida, at the Hard Rock Live. The show started at 8:00 pm, with thousands in the crowd. Once the show started, Emma Slater came out with her co-host, Elaine Hendrix. They introduced the cast and started the first dance. Both hosts were involved in dances since they are dancers as well.
Once the show started, slow and upbeat music played along with the dances. They performed quickstep, paso doble, salsa, rumba, etc. Each dancer was super talented; the way they perform and move is amazing. It’s super cool to see how the pros from the TV show perform on their own and with one another. Val Cheminensky and Jenna Johnson danced together; it was beautiful to watch. The slow, elegant song paired with their delicate choreography was incredible. There were many other duets and group choreography. However, this was my favorite dance of the night!
Near the end of the show, the cast hosted something called DWTS T.E.A. This stood for the technique enforcement agency. It was an interactive skit in which they chose someone from the crowd to come up onto the stage. They taught that person dancing skills as if they were a T.E.A. It was really funny to watch. It was also cool to see the dancers interact with each other while not dancing.
Overall, it was a great experience! If you love DWTS, I would definitely recommend that you see if there is another tour date in your area in the future. Even if you have no idea what DWTS is, I would still recommend going. It’s a fun experience overall!
