Introducing Evelyn Garcia

Introducing+Evelyn+Garcia

Evelyn Garcia is a Senior and it’s her second year on The Bullseye. She enjoys writing which is a large reason she is in the newspaper. This year she wants to write about band, clubs, and AICE related content. Currently, Evelyn works at Publix, but eventually she wants to be in either the Airforce or go to film school. She is considering going to UCF and she is going for the AICE Diploma, and is very serious about her education. Her favorite subjects are History and English.

Evelyn is definitely an animal lover- she has two cats and four dogs. Evelyn is part of the school’s symphonic band, she has been in the band playing clarinet for over 7 years. She plays multiple instruments including piano, clarinet, ukulele, and acoustic guitar. She loves to read and writes many of Bullseye‘s book reviews. She is in the Literary League Club and Perks of Being a Wallflower is both her favorite movie and book. This summer she visited Dallas, Texas and Chicago, Illinois to reunite with family. Her parents are from Mexico and she has two brothers- she is the middle child. Her older brother joined the Army and her younger brother is in 5th grade.

Emma Lawman, Reporter
My name is Emma Lawman and I am a Senior. This is my second year being a member of The Bullseye staff. I love writing and that is the main reason I joined The Bullseye last year. I don’t limit myself to just one topic of writing. In fact, I plan on covering politics, current events, and conservation. One of the careers I am considering is being an author, so being a reporter for the newspaper is also a way to improve my writing skills.
