Introducing Gabriella Zarubinsky, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Introducing+Gabriella+Zarubinsky%2C+Co-Editor-in-Chief

The Bullseye has a new Editor-in-Chief: Gabriella Zarubinsky.

Born in the suburbs of Chicago, Gabriella moved to Boca Raton two years ago. Despite only starting her academic career at West Boca as a sophomore, Gabriella created the Law Society, a club that increases civic engagement and gives students a platform where they can advance their knowledge and aspirations to have a future career in the legal and political fields.

Gabriella is Assistant Captain of the West Boca debate team and she competes in congress where she has placed many times, winning several awards including first place at PBCFL tournaments. Gabriella is also president of the Spanish National Honor Society as she has been learning Spanish for nearly a decade and wants to continue in college. However, Spanish is not the only language Gabriella speaks. In fact, she is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and learns more in her free time. Currently, she is taking a college French class and tackling Latin independently to assist in her passion for history.

Gabriella is an aspiring trial attorney. She hopes to work with international litigations and human rights issues, so her love of foreign languages will flourish in this field. Gabriella got great experience over the summer when she interned with the Florida House of Representatives. In the summer of 2022, Gabriella also clerked for a judge at the Delray Beach courthouse.

She is also the co-founder and secretary of a nonprofit organization called “Face Our Reality”. Its goal is to encourage our generation to develop themselves on the basis of their passions to serve the greater community and achieve global change. With her role as Director of Politics and Legislation, she strives to discuss real, unbiased news in order to achieve bipartisan political support for reform. “I hope to inspire teens to no longer solely repost issues on social media, but go out and transform the world one step at a time!”

As if her resume is not impressive enough, Gabriella also created an organization called BocaBeSafe which aims to promote road safety and spread awareness about the abundance of traffic accidents here in South Florida.

As part of The Bullseye, Gabriella looks forward to editing articles and helping out the team in a number of ways. Because she has a passion for public policy and loves to research, Gabriella likes writing about current event issues such as lawsuits and legislation changes.

Isaac Edelman, Editor-in-Chief
Howdy! I’m Isaac Edelman and I’m a senior at West Boca Raton Community High School. I’m an aspiring sports broadcaster and reporter, always seeking to improve my craft. I love sports writing and public speaking. In the future, I would like to become a beat writer or/and a reporter for a professional sports team. I would also love to be a play-by-play announcer or news anchor. As part of The Bullseye, I write many sports articles, run our social media pages (@wbhsbullseye), and make sure everything runs smoothly on the technology part of the site (behind the scenes). I hope to provide students with the best and latest sports news. I am excited to be an Editor-in-Chief for The Bullseye this school year!
