Congratulations to the West Boca Girls Golf team on their win against Wellington yesterday, September 5th.  The team played well and worked hard for their defeat 175 West Boca and 215 Wellington.

Coach Bonina said that he is proud of CJ Andino who shot a 36, Madison Lowenstein with a 38, and Rebecca Kittay with a 40.  They led us to our victory over Wellington and we look forward to playing them again later in the season.  “I thought girls were mentally better than in the first match, staying focused and calmer, this will happen in the future as we play more matches. Our next match is a trio against Olympic Heights and Boca High,so it will be fun for the team to play our 2 rivals.

Rebecca Kittay said “I am proud of the team as they all worked hard to take our the first win of the season.  Even though there was some competition, West Boca took charge and ended up having the win that we have been working for.  There are still things that we can work on but as for next week, we will beat Olympic Heights and Boca High.

Madison Lowenstein said “I thought we played really well as a team today.  Everyone has been improving so much and we need to keep this positivity moving forward.”

Freshman CJ Andino, shot even par helping our chances of winning.  CJ said “I shot even par, I had so much fun today getting the W with my team today”

The Bulls will have their next match next Tuesday, September 12th.  Good luck girls!
