Easy As Pie

It’s the time of the year where the Culinary Academy holds their annual holiday pie sale! As this is only the third year we are hoping to hold this tradition for many more.  These students make all of the pies from scratch and are made with the finest ingredients to ensure that you get the best pies.  All of the money that is made during this fundraiser goes to pay for the ingredients for the students to continue to cook, sell, and show off their talents.

This year they will be selling: Apple pie, Key Lime pie, Pecan pie, and Pumpkin pie, as well as a Chocolate Cream pie. The date of the flash sale has not yet been announced, so stay tuned to find out. You can find all of the information on their instagram. If you are interested in buying a pie or pies please find a culinary student or email Chef A to place your order.  Not only is this a fundraiser, but this is also a competition for the students in the academy.  The first 5 pies that are sold wins the culinary student a pizza. For every 10 pies that a student sells they can have a free pie or lunch.

Chef Angnardo reported in our Q&A that people should buy the Culinary pies because of the quality.  He states that “you can buy them for cheaper at other places but they won’t taste as good!” Our pies will be sold until November 10th for pre-orders and can be requested after the 10th for what we have on hand.  So from the chef himself, ordering, selling, and distributing 400 pies is easy as PIE!
