Friday November 3rd,was our football team’s last home game, and with that it’s time to recognize our seniors from Vanguard, West Boca’s stellar band! This year Vanguard has brought school spirit and with great success was invited to play in this year’s 2024 Rome’s day Parade.
To wrap up this year’s football season, during half-time all senior football players, cheerleaders, and band members did their senior walk up with their parents and friends.
Every senior got handed a flower as they were being walked down as gift for their commitment to band for 4 years.
All the underclassman band students were cheering their senior friends on and sad to have to see them go after this school year. Football season is the best season for our vanguard family to connect and get to know each other because after the season vanguard is split into three different bands so football season is the best season for the vanguard family to all really connect feel as one.
The band is glad to see our football team make playoffs and is looking forward to joining them in their upcoming games. Vanguard will be joining our football team this week at their game against Atlantic high school all thanks to our principal for supplying the band with charter buses. Vanguard is overall very grateful for all the support West Boca has given them, this will definitely not be the end of our band this year. There is a lot more Vanguard has to show such as this year’s winter concert! Stay tuned!
